This page is just a scratch pad for my own use, to keep notes on ideas for things to do in Wikipedia.

  • N: the letters A-M follow a newer format, N and beyond haven't been changed yet. 14:59, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
  • Electronics seems to be from too much of an electrical engineer perspective. Would this be useful to a 6th grader doing a school project on "electronics"? (can we make it so while keeping it accurate and useful enough for experts, too?) 14:59, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
  • Ring modulation outputs the "sum and difference"? really? 14:59, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
    • Sum and difference in terms of frequencies, but not the sum and difference of the actual *signals.* 15:03, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
  • Product detector one of the (far too many) examples in wikipedia where jargon is thrown into the fray with no context or explanation. In this case, the terms "IF" and "RF." This is an encyclopedia, not a technical manual for experts! 15:03, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
  • Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks/GFDL Compliance several pages listed here have changed their compliance status, but it hasn't been updated yet. 16:39, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
  • Wikipedia:Readers' FAQ#Why are the background of some pages light yellow and others white? vs Wikipedia:Miscellaneous FAQ#Why are some pages yellow and others white? 17:11, Dec 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Can Ray Kroc be updated with some of the info from [1] while remaining NPOV? 18:25, Dec 7, 2004 (UTC)
  • Brazilian logic looks interesting... research and expand? 19:53, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)
    • [2] looks like a good place to start 19:55, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)
  • Axiom of pairing has an unprofessional looking question at the bottom 20:10, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)
  • Surreal number I seem to remember the notation being confusing when reading this article. Figure it out, and make it more clear? [3] seems to do a good job explaining it. 20:25, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)
  • Could we have an article on Deep Anarchy? Main source seems to be [4]. Is this a valid philosophical concept for an encyclopedia or is it some weird fringe thing? 22:07, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)
  • Fibroadenoma or Fibroadenomatosis? 18:20, Dec 22, 2004 (UTC)
  • Covariant doesn't do a good job explaining what it actually is. [5] describes it simply: Covariant coordinate j is the length along a vector which is perpendicular to all axes other than the jth. Contravariant coordinate j is the length along a vector parallel to the jth axis. Or something. 13:59, Dec 31, 2004 (UTC)
  • Make money fast is way too hyperlink-happy. Looks like an e2 article. 21:10, Jan 19, 2005 (UTC)
  • Differential equations is another one that gets wayyy too mathy in explaining some concepts that should be straightforward. 21:25, Jan 19, 2005 (UTC)
  • Should Gregorian Conversion have an article, or at least a redirect? 21:01, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)
  • Maybe someone should do a write up for the D'ni calendar, and list it in the "fictional" section of List of calendars. 21:37, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)
  • Recess needs to be DABed ... at least one article (Sumeria) links to it referring to Architectural Recesses, but that article is about school day break. 19:16, Mar 31, 2005 (UTC)
