Papa (slang)[edit]
Reasons for deletion request (as of Deletion Policy):
- This article can never be more than a dictionary definition, and therefore
- it has no potential to become encyclopedic.
This article covers several unrelated topics at once, consists of trivia-like information with no support at all, and has no potential for cleanup -- if you clean it up nothing remains. Papa and Mama and papa already cover the points of interest cited here. --Pablo D. Flores 11:34, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)

- Merge useful information with the Papa disambiguation page. --Deathphoenix 20:48, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Merge as above. Salazar 21:35, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Can be nothing more than a dicdef, but should be merged into a wikitionary definition. bernlin2000 ∞ 23:45, Jan 11, 2005 (UTC)
- Merge to wiktionary. Note, it's not really slang though, it's archaic perhaps - posh characters in Victorian literature refer to their fathers as "Papa" all the time - that was the correct non-slang term in those days. PaulHammond 16:37, Jan 14, 2005 (UTC)
- Merge as above, perhaps add in cleaned up form to wiktionary. --InShaneee 16:41, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Delete - everything there is to merge, including the interesting universality the article hints at, is already covered by either Mama and papa, papa or false cognate. — mark ✎ 21:17, 16 Jan 2005 (UTC)
